Hello, my name is Madeleine and I'm the
author behind The Cottage Cupboard.
As a small child, I watched my mother make delicious home-cooked meals and baked goods for our family, and as I grew, my passion for baking did too.
So much so that I began to create and record new recipes in a book which is now overflowing with cosy baked goods and puddings that
were made to be shared.
The Cottage Cupboard is a little corner of the internet where you'll find that ever-so-necessary slice of tranquillity, as the pace slows to the tempo of country living.
With family roots in Wiltshire, I’m a country girl at heart, and countryside living is something which I simply adore.
Much of my inspiration both inside and outside of the kitchen derives from my love of the West Country. There's just nothing quite like a cosy bake with heart at the cottage core.
